Well! We're back from a quickie tour of WI. It was so much fun, great to see people I haven't seen in several years. Nice to have other people make coffee and figure out what to cook for dinner.
But now I'm back wishing I was still on vacation, with Chemo looming in two days. Ugh. I don't think I was ready for the real world. It's storming in Cambodia, and I'd love to be there to see it. I bet it's beautiful at the beach (any one, pick one). My mom and mother-in-law both have comfy chairs and lots of kind words. It's an "anywhere but here" situation.
I'm glad to be home. My cat missed me. I missed her too.
Here's hoping that I can shake the blahs and get some things done.
Happy to hear Oliver doesn't miss you anymore, but that just means that it's our turn to miss you guys :) We had such a wonderful time with you here!

It was a great visit! Our picnic in the park was a great success! Good food and good visits!!! It is so quiet around here, not sure what to do with myself. I so enjoyed sitting around drinking iced coffee with you! God is so good! He has truly blessed me with great daughters! Just wanted you to know that positive thoughts go out to you daily! ReplyDeleteSheri, I'm glad you had a chance to soak up some love from family, and I understand completely about the post-trip blues - especially with chemo lurking ahead. :( It's not fun, and I hate that you have to keep slogging through it. Hoping this round is an easy one for you.
