I've read that vitamin D is really good for helping to prevent recurrances. Living in GA now, I'm sure I get plenty of vit D from the sun too.

Early menopause is a bummer. I'm dealing with that too. I kind of hoped my ovaries would kick back in and I'd start up my cycles again, but not so far.

So many big changes, huh? It's a challenge to accept this new way of being sometimes. I went into early menopause at age 44 because of treatment. I too have been on B12 but I actually knew years before diagnosis that I had a b12 deficiency. I am wondering if you should also take calcium. My oncologist has me on calcium and vitamin D3. I feel like I get a good amount of sunshine in California so I am sure I get plenty of vitamin D anyway. I hate to say it but I still take a sleeping pill maybe twice a week and before I had the diagnosis I never took one. I think I have some insomia problems because of the menopause. I am glad to hear that you are off of the pain meds and getting your life back to normal.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
