I really love reading and posting. In a way it has brought me alot of peace of mind. I love sharing information with other people who are starting their journey or have hit a bump in the road. I have learned two things the farther you get away from treatment the easier it gets. I also have pretty much returned my life to normal so when I read or posts it actually helps remove the fear of the unknown and it has helped me recover. I also think we can learn from each others posts or blogs and it is so important to learn what other people are going thru with their experiences. Eventho chemo and radiation will be finished for you, you now will find that their are post radiation issues. I too had the surgery and even after 8 years every now and then a situation will crop up with my ostomy and it is always reassuring to read about other peoples experiences. I was fortunate because after I had my ap I healed really fast. I do have a close friend from another group who after her ap resect had to have the wound vac and then a skin graft. It sounds like you are starting to heal really fast and I think you should just take it easy this summer and enjoy your children and husband. You have been thru alot these past six months and now the healing begins.<br />DianeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
